Our Chief Patron And Chief Tactical Advisor Shri Anand Mishra who is an IPS Police officer and people’s man, is from Bhojpur District, Bihar. But he was born and brought up in Kolkata, Started his career in West Bengal Civil Service in 2005 till 2011. He decided to become an IPS officer while he was in class 8. In 2010, he cleared IPS Exam and joined as IPS officer of 2011 Batch, Assam- Meghalaya Cadre. After training, He was in Meghalaya from 2013 to 2017. After 2017, He was in Assam and currently working in Nagaon, Assam as SP, Nagaon. Before Nagaon, He was the SP of Charaideu and Dhubri District, Assam.

Professional Experience

The firebrand IPS Shri Anand Mishra, from being a jungle warrior in once insurgency-hit Garo Hills has received ‘Police Medal Award’ from the President of India for gallantry and extraordinary courage and valiant actions in counter insurgency operations. Shri AnandMishra was part of the Operation Hill Storm of Meghalaya Police where he physically led the commando teams in the jungles during Operation Hill Storm I and II.

Shri Anand Mishra Has Served As SP Guwahati For Anti-Corruption and Vigilance.

Shri AnandMishra was also posted in Charaideo district which was again a militancy affected area. During his posting, he curbed down the liquor mafia of his jurisdiction completely and also brought in comprehensive development in the area which created a positive impact among the local people who still remember him for his contributions to their lives.

As SP DhubriShri Anand Mishra embarked on a crusade against all kinds of organized crimes including trafficking , Smuggling and Drugs. Positioning of Dhubri is a bit tricky as it has an interstate border with Bengal on one hand and an international border with Bangladesh on the other.
